I just realized I haven’t made any posts lately. Seems like my blog has lost it’s purpose (to inspire). Any suggestions for tomorrow night?

“True wisdom comes to us when we realize how little we know about life, ourselves, and the universe” -Socrates. Who would have thought someone from so long ago could be so right. There is absolutely no way we will ever be able to know ‘everything’. But in all honesty, why would we want to? We are living in a world where we constantly strive to know more and more, which in my opinion is a good thing. That constant desire to learn and hunger for knowledge has gotten us to where we are today. Thinking outside of the box and realizing how much we have to learn. We will never ever be able to harness all the knowledge of the universe, because there will always be more to learn. Plus, as a good friend of mine once said: “If I mastered every language and learned everything, my tomorrow would be pretty boring.”. I just want to bring that idea forward. Once we all realize how little we know, we have achieved wisdom.

Heartbreak… It’s perhaps the only problem in life that man hasn’t found a solution to (other than death). I’ve had my heart broken just once at this point. It’s a long, painful process. The only solution that I’ve found is time. Drinking won’t help, cutting won’t help, drugs won’t help. The only possible solution you’ll ever find is time. Time to compose yourself, time to realize that you are able to live without that person. I won’t sit here and type lies, it just wastes both of our time: It will be painful, it will make you want to just lay down and cry. You also will overcome it, and you will do so with the support of your family and your friends.

It really made me realize that there are so many people out there who have gone through what I have. Demi’s words inspired me so much. I don’t usually post stuff relating to celebrities, but I feel like she has fought a private battle publicly. She’s inspirational and I completely and totally have a lot of respect for her, even though I’ve never met her. Demi, even though you’ll never read this, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being an inspirational light to so many people through the past months.
