People often ask me why I spend so much time blogging. My answer every time is that I do this because I want to show people what's inside my head. I want to make sure people know that there's always someone willing to listen, and I would really like to bring awareness to some of the issues that I have faced in the past.

My ultimate goal in maintaining this blog isn’t about followers, it’s about getting the message out that people are NOT alone in fighting depression and self injury (or really whatever battle in their life that they are fighting). To continue to get this message out to as many people as possible, would everyone just consider a quick promo? I don’t care if you have 2 followers or 200,000 followers.
